Katherine Klauber Moulton -- The Hotelier of the World!
She is the president and general manager of The Colony Beach &
Tennis Resort and the recipient of the Independent Hotelier of the World Award, presented by Hotels magazine. First entered the industry at age 11, working her way through
maintenance, housekeeping, reception and restaurant duties at her family’s
island resort. She is the former chairman of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and a member
of the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce. Also on the board of directors of the
Southern Innkeepers Association and the Florida Hotel and Motel Association and
a member of the American Hotel and Motel Association.
